"Donte follows me to the trunk and as I grab our cases, he stoops down to grab them. As he does, he grabs my hand at the same time. The electricity that runs through my body almost knocks me on my ass."

Isabella Jacobs was a stunning runway model, who was in a terrible accident. After months of rehab, she was finally ready to go back to work. When she went for her first interview after her car wreck, her boss, Donte Mills, was everything she wanted in a man; rich, powerful, sexy. The only problem was that Donte was engaged to be married. After a fateful fashion show weekend, the feelings between Donte and Isabella are undeniable. But will this just confuse Isabella even more, or will this be the love she's been waiting her whole life for?

Confused By Love review:

To Be Released on 4/22/13

After quitting her job as a catwalk model due to a horrible car accident she doubted she would recover from, Isabella Jacobs takes a job working for the oh-so-sexy and oh-so-engaged Mr. Donte Mills. While its clear Donte is interested in Izzy as much more than just an employee, she tries to fend off his advances and her feelings for him, because afterall he's her boss and taken by a co-worker who already hates her with a passion. When she takes on an additional job as a catwalk model she has to work even more closely with Donte and can no longer fight the attraction. The steamyness that ensues is just plain wonderful!

I absolutely loved this book! I had to finish it the same day I started. Izzy's character was so well developed and real, which to me is extremely important. It helps to be able to relate to a  character so deeply. White Donte can be a bit frustrating with all his advances, Izzy's resolve to stay away from a man who is clearly taken, is admirable. I loved her level-headedness and her ability to think situations through without jumping into anything too quickly. Its also a good thing she has her best bud/roommate, Claire, by her side to help out. Claire is awesome and does a wonderful job of being there for Izzy.

Amanda, Donte's fiance, is just the perfect villain and so easy to hate. It's clear to everybody that she's only with him for his money. So when she finally gets booted its sweet! I'm 100% sure though that we haven't heard the last from her. I'm curious to see where the story goes and definitely can't wait for the next book!

Interview with Donte Mills:

So what happened when you followed Amanda out of the interview room during Isabella's interview?

Amanda got jealous. She must of heard my sudden intake of breath as Isabella walked in the meeting room. Amanda knows our relationship ain't based on love but money - for her, and loneliness on both sides. She fears she will loose my money. She told me straight out Izzy was not getting hired by D-M's fashion as she didn't trust her. I simply told her it wasn't her choice to make, and she needed to stop been so petulant as she didn't even know Izzy. She definitely didn't need to judge her just because of my reaction to her.

What did you think of Isabella the first time you saw her?

I though I was in heaven. She is the most beautiful lady I have ever seen and she looked so fragile and cute.

Why did you ask Isabella out for dinner when Amanda was away? What did you think would happen?

I simply wanted to get to know her. I wanted to know who was working for me. I didn't plan anything to happen. I just wanted to know this beautiful lady.

What were you thinking when Isabella disappeared the weekend after you had dinner?

I thought I maybe pushed her to far at dinner. I had worried she maybe quit work and I would never see her again. I worried even more when she didn't reply to my messages. That weekend was a long weekend for me.

Do you think it was fair to pursue Isabella while you were engaged to Amanda?

Myself and Amanda knew our relationship was not love. She was after money and I had plenty. I agreed to marry her to save her embarrassment. Let's face it, at the time I had no-one else. However I do think we could of handled it better. Maybe let Amanda know what was happening and end things, but life with Izzy just took over. But no I do not regret going after Izzy. Just doing it differently.

Did you purposely only book one room at the hotel during the weekend of the fashion show?

No. The hotel was genuinely fully booked. We left it to late with the show the rooms booked real quick. It was either book them into a different hotel or share my suite. Its not like I made her share my bed. They had there own room so what difference did it really make.

Do you think Amanda will retaliate in any way now that she knows the truth about you and Isabella?

No doubt about it. Amanda has never been one to let things go.

Now that you and Isabella can openly pursue a relationship what are your plans?

Just to have fun and enjoy our selves. Hopefully marriage and children in the future. For now though I want her to finally reach her dreams.
