Title: Reforming the Playboy
Author: Inara Scott
Publication Date: January 13, 2014
Five years ago, she left without a word…
Internationally-renowned artist Max Estin is as well known for his million dollar commissions as he is his partying and clubbing. But Max is hiding a secret—for almost a year he’s been completely blocked. Unable to paint. And to unlock his art, and save his career, he’s going to need the one woman he never wanted to see again.
Now, he’s determined to make her pay…
Kira Estin never told Max exactly why she left, or what secrets forced her to return home to Passion Creek so abruptly. So when a chance reunion turns to seduction, Kira is more than a little suspicious. She knows better than to trust Max, but can’t fight the fire that he lights in her body—or her heart. But when everyone is hiding a secret, can even the hottest passion survive?
About the Author:
Inara grew up in winter wonderland of Buffalo, NY. Consequently, she spent much of her childhood complaining about being cold. To spare the world her whining, she fled the cold climate and eventually wound up in the Pacific NW, where she practiced law for ten years before getting up the courage to quit her day job and write full time. A proud author of fantasy and romance for adults and young adults, Inara firmly believes that great literature doesn't have to be depressing, true love does exist, and everyone deserves a happily ever after. You can find her online at Twitter (@inarascott), on Facebook, and at her website: www.inarascott.com.

When fellow authors Victoria James, Rachel Lyndhurst and I were talking about creating a fictional town where our continuity of books (a continuity is like a series, but the books are written by different authors) would be set, we had a few things in mind. First, it had to be small. There’s something magical about a small town, where everyone knows everyone, the owner of the local drugstore is a town fixture, and the mayor can be crazy as a jaybird and still get elected to office.
Because we were writing books that we wanted to link together, our fictional town had to have some notable characters (like the crazy mayor!) that could appear in all our all stories. And of course, a legend. The best small towns all have legends.
Passion Creek’s legend is that the town’s waters can heal old wounds or bring together star-crossed lovers. Just like people go to Loveland, Colorado to send letters (because of the awesome postmark!), we figured Passion Creek would be a great place to spend Valentine’s Day, get married, or ride out a big snowstorm.
And of course, it’s the perfect place to fall in love!
If you want to find the real Passion Creek…well, it doesn’t exist. It’s a combination of a lot of small towns in the mountains in Colorado. Imagine beautiful vistas in every direction. Mountains cracking the sky and snow falling on antique street lights. Boutique art shops and great espresso. A craft brewery. Wildflowers in the summer.
And now that you know what it’s like, I hope you’ll come with me to visit Passion Creek. My book, Reforming the Playboy is out first, but you’ll get a chance to go back to Passion Creek in March with Victoria James’ book The Rancher’s Valentine’s Wedding, and in May with Rachel Lyndhurst’s book Blackmailed by the Brewer.
And to celebrate the start of my blog tour through Passion Creek, I’m giving away a Passion Creek mug and a copy of Reforming the Playboy!
